Note(s): Villa Vizcaya in Miami, former home of one of America's great industrialists, James Deering, is now the home of the Dade County Art Museum where European decorative arts date from 1450-1800. Vizcaya's formal beauty is set in the midst of tropical wilderness. The fabulous gardens took nine years to perfect and today they have little equal in the Western Hemisphere.
