Abstract/Description: Prior research revealed that audiovisual presentations modeling information-seeking behavior (ISB) with vicarious reinforcement can increase engagement in career decision-making activities. This article describes a strategy for updating effective counseling strategies initiated by John Krumboltz and others fifty years ago. However, technology-based resource delivery, as well as the preferences and values of today’s Gen Z students, have led to new options for how ISB can be portrayed and delivered. This article revisits and updates a theory- and research-based technological career intervention for contemporary counseling services.
